Benevolent è un mostro buono e inopportuno. Vorresti stringerlo forte e poi dargli un cazzotto. Ti mette in imbarazzo perché è ingenuo e fuori dal tempo ma non riesci volergli male perché dice il vero. Come fanno i bambini ma meglio dei bambini. Sembra che arrivi dagli anni ’90 eppure è fresco e malato come la primavera del 2022. Ed è bellissimo. Per noi miglior disco pop di questo, dell’anno passato e dell’anno a venire.

Benevolent is a good and inopportune monster. You would like to squeeze him tight and then give him a punch. He embarrasses you because he’s naive and out of time but you cannot want him badly because he’s telling the truth. As children do but better than children. It looks like it’s from the 90s and yet it’s as fresh and sick as the spring of 2022. And it’s beautiful.
