See You When Fascism Is Whipped is Girless’ second album, two years after I Have A Call. The title is the final farewell on a postcard sent by Woody Guthrie to his father, while he was drafted into the U.S. Navy during World War II. It is precisely Woody Guthrie, the true father of American folk, who deal with the lyrics of the disc. Huge and unique character in his time: American, patriotic, Catholic, socialist, almost Marxist, accused of communism, certainly anti-fascist until his death.
