Autobahn is the fourth studio album by German electronic band Kraftwerk, released in November 1974. Semi-serious rock androids, half-man-half-machine, Ralf and Florian have traveled their own personal “autobahn”, driven by the experimental impulses of the Teutonic school (Stockhausen, the “kosmische musik”), projected towards the music that was not yet there (new wave, synth-pop, hip-hop, dance, house, trance, techno …).
