“The mix is a very spontaneous response to my, certainly privileged, quarantine condition. I am in fact with my family in a house in the middle of Les Cevennes National Park in France. No one here, so there are no tangible differences compared to before if not the inability to leave the house. The news about the virus arrives as muffled by the mountains that surround us making everything even more surreal. An interesting detail is that the first piece of the mix (an extract) is a composition written by Luc Ferrari after visiting the Causse Méjean, a desolate plateau very close to where I am. The landscape described in music by Ferrari is more or less the same that I have right now in front of my eyes”.
